Sickness-Diseases- A condition or tendency, regarded as abnormal and harmful. Lack of ease; trouble.

Psalm 118:5 (NLT)
5  In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free.

Does Jesus heal sickness today, or is that just when we get to heaven?
What we are fighting against?

Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)
12  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

John 8:32-34 (NLT)
32  And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
33  “But we are descendants of Abraham,” they said. “We have never been slaves to anyone. What do you mean, ‘You will be set free’?”
34  Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.

Sin- to miss the mark and so not share in the prize; Rom.8:29;

Hebrews 12:1-2 (KJV)
1  Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;

We need to be touched today- to attach oneself to; to fasten to, to set on fire; Emotionally affected; Slightly mentally deficient; touched in the head.

Matthew 8:1-3 (NLT)
1  Large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the mountainside.
2  Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.”
3  Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.

7  For we live by believing and not by seeing.

Luke 13:10-15 (NLT)
10  One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue,
11  he saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit. She had been bent double for eighteen years and was unable to stand up straight.
12  When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Dear woman, you are healed of your sickness!”
13  Then he touched her, and instantly she could stand straight. How she praised God!
14  But the leader in charge of the synagogue was indignant that Jesus had healed her on the Sabbath day. “There are six days of the week for working,” he said to the crowd. “Come on those days to be healed, not on the Sabbath.”
15  But the Lord replied, “You hypocrites! Each of you works on the Sabbath day!

Luke 13:16 (NIV)
16  Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”

How can I touch the unseen Jesus today and be set free?

Hebrews 4:15-16 (KJV)
15  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

“When we touch Jesus, God releases power.”

Ephesians 3:16 (NLT)
16  I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.

Resource- Something that can be used for support or help: An available supply that can be drawn on when needed. The ability to deal with a difficult or troublesome situation effectively; Means that can be used to cope with a difficult situation.

Ephesians 3:19 (NLT)
19  May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

“It’s time to get off the old songs and start singing the new.”

Psalm 40:3 (NLT)
3  He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the LORD.

Acts 16:25 (KJV)
25  And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Locked up in the depths of a Roman jail, in stocks! So what did they do? Moan? Whine? Blame God? Give up? No, their jail term was marked by only two activities: praying and singing hymns to God.
