24It was by faith that Moses, when he grew up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25

He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin.

16Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.

10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that

they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

2Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.

17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

12And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as

good as dead-

12That’s how it happened that from one man’s dead and shriveled loins there are now people numbering into the millions.

1The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you.

4So Abram departed as the LORD had instructed, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

Second choice – Get sincere about wanting to change;

8It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going.

17That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing.

18Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” 19 And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb. 20 Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.

6 We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.8And yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.

11For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

2I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”

4I replied, “But my work seems so useless! I have spent my strength for nothing and to no purpose. Yet I leave it all in the LORD’s hand;I will trust God for my reward.”

5Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

19“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make.
